Debian 12 on a Dell Latitude 7390

Hello I just got another System to install Debian. It's a used Dell Latitude 7390 with a 13" Display. After switching off SecureBoot and enabled Legacy Option ROMs in order to boot from USB stick, I was able to install a Debian System on the build in NVMe SSD. But afterwards I disabled this Legacy setting and tried with and without Secureboot to boot Linux, but got only an error no bootable device found. Going back to the BIOS settings I found out that I have to "Add Boot Option". But within the dropdown menu I couldn't find the files described here: Dells support site for Ubuntu
With the differnce of course, that I tried this with Debian But I tried it with Ubuntu as well, just to check if it works
So my guess is I botched something, and deleted maybe a file within the UFI partition. I made dozens of Debian installations but with BIOS not UEFI!
Does anyone have a clue, what I missed?
Thanks a lot
