This is workstation running bookworm 12.8 running 6.1.0-28-amd64 with a TP-Link TP-Link UB500 Adapter for my BT
Blueman is current according to apt.
Until the 6.1.0-28-amd64 update the Blueman BT icon always appeared on the panel and I could turn on a BT device, such as my headphones to get connected without problems. Now, after hours of run time, the icon disappears anf a reboot is needed to bring BT back.
Why is it dropping and how to solve?

What sound server do you use?

PulseAudio... why?
When the Blueman Icon dies, so does my BT link to my Razor Basilisk X Hyperspeed mouse which I then have to switch to it's 2.4 option.
When I run the systemctl status comment for bluetooth without the headset connected, I get:
Code: Select all

Jan 04 11:15:00 blackbox bluetoothd[1390]: Endpoint unregistered: sender=:1.126 path=/MediaEndpoint/A2DPSource/sbc_xq_552
When I connect the headset, AND WORKINGI get this additional line:
Code: Select all
src/service.c:btd_service_connect() a2dp-sink profile connect failed for A8:FB:B0:AE:38:72: Device or resource busy
Don't know how this connects to the bluetooth service dying later. but there is it.

Have you made your headphones trusted?
I too use pulsaudio, and bluetooth headphones just work fine.

My headphones are trusted but not always on as I use desktop speakers mostly. The headphones work just fine with the exception that when the Bluetooth fails I loose the BT connection to the mouse (and have to switch that to a 2.4 USB service) and I am unable to get the headset to connect.
The problem is the BT service not the headset.
