df shows 5 mount points are mounted
/dev
/run
/ [is 56% used for, the rest is using 1% or 0%]
/dev/shm
/run/lock
/home is not mounted because linux boots into emergency mode.
if is not the available space being low which i didn't think it was, why there is not a public key or unable to run apt-get update?
UPDATE:I forced fs check and it discovered errors which I manually fixed by pressing y on every question.
tried apt update again but still fails with slightly diferent errors still segmentation fault issues not sure if post-instalation script subproces error as well or not.
-I'm reinstalling debian 12.6 as of now.

yes I sorted it out few days ago, reinstalled debian MATE on top of the XFCE corrupted debian, no issues with inter twined config files as I used the same home directories even same directory for the users which i put the same names and same folders.
I think i could had fix it in XFCE if i done another forced check on root and home partitions. I didn't know forced e2fsck could help a lot.
recently upgraded to 12.7 doing a dist-upgrade.
I should add that siena mirrors are offline so double the damage.
