Bluetooth timeout issues

#1 Post by MikeLieberman »

I didn't post this on the device section of the forum as it seems to affect all my BT attached devices.
[The attached devices: Razor Basilisk X Hyperspeed Mouse; FG-07S headset; Bose SoundSport pods]
The BT seems to time out and then reconnect after a pause.
  • It there a setting somewhere to resolve this?
  • If BT is a lower priority service, can I make it a higher priority service?
As an example: The headphones (and pods) seem to cut out and the mouse seems to be far less responsive when Timeshift is backing up to the external drive.
  • Can I tell it to never drop the mouse if I haven't been using it? (But it also drops when I am using it.)
I am running Debian 12.5
6.1.0-21-amd64

on a
Huananzhi X99-BD4
CPU E5-2680 v4 / 28 CPU cores CPY Speed 2.40Ghz
DDRAM 64GB
Bluetooth adapter: Bus 001 Device 005: ID 2357:0604 TP-Link TP-Link UB500 Adapter
What? Me worry? [A.E. Newman]
