[Testing - Trixie] boot delay

hello,
about two days ago my computer started to wait during boot abt. 1'30sec and on display is a text;

Code: Select all

reached target time-set
dev tpmrm0 time-set start running
after some minutes the boot continues and computer starts as usual.

I wonder if I should do something because of this delay, or just wait?

Looking forward to get some advice!

Code: Select all

Enable TPM from BIOS settings.
And of course don't use root user, use sudo

Thanks for your advices!

My PC is almost 14 years old, I'm not sure if TPM was already then available.

Code: Select all

Desktop System: Hewlett-Packard product: HP Compaq Elite 8300 CMT
Mobo: Hewlett-Packard model: 3396 serial: <filter> UEFI: Hewlett-Packard
    v: K01 v02.05 date: 05/07/2012

  Speed (MHz): avg: 3489 high: 3505 min/max: 1600/3600 cores: 1: 3456
    2: 3505 3: 3499 4: 3499 bogomips: 25541

Device-1: Intel Xeon E3-1200 v2/3rd Gen Core processor Graphics
    vendor: Hewlett-Packard driver: i915 v: kernel arch: Gen-7 bus-ID: 00:02.0

My PC has original BIOS from 2012 and I could not find a solution to activate TPM. It's time to look for a newer refurbished PC, current PC (purchased 2018) is also one of those.
