How can I install cpupower-gui_1.0.0-1_all.deb

This works on LMDE6 but I can't get it to work on Debian 12. I'd like to install cpupower-gui_1.0.0-1_all.deb but when I do it shows a dependency issue. It doesn't say which dependency is missing? I'm kind of surprised that KDE doesn't have a GUI to set a CPU governor.

Well the git link has a DEB file and I am using Discovery to install it. I'm not good at using terminal commands for Git installs. So unless there is a DEB file for Discover, I'm dead in the water. Using Discovery the error message is Dependency resolution failed.

I had the old version from Bullseye which still worked after upgrading to Bookworm. I just tried the latest one and it installed and seems to work fine.
As root or sudo from the directory where the .deb is saved:

Ok, I have Discover back. I back tracked and saw my problem was with libglib2.0-dev
so I installed it.

aptitude install libglib2.0-dev

During the process I was taken to many choices and I chose downgrade. After everything settled I did sudo apt-get -y install plasma-discover and now I have Discover back. But my original question is still a problem and that is installing cpupower-gui_1.0.0-1_all.deb.

Maybe I should stop trying. My system is still not as stable as it was before my adventure. On some of the drop down menus there is flickering. I use X-11 and maybe it is also because recently I put backports into the mix???

I got it off of https://github.com/vagnum08/cpupower-gui/releases/

It was downloaded to the download folder.

Hm? Thought I posted this.
Thanks for all your help but I finally got it to install. Installed the DEB file but then no GUI. It wanted Handy installed, so I installed Handy. Then it started and I had the GUI. I rebooted and saw an error that said it can't start the program during boot. Maybe GRUB needs to have an addition.

I have no idea who or why this all worked? I also wonder how much un-needed files were installed and or removed during this experiment.
