Grub-Install
The command GRUB-INSTALL returns an error indicating my file system is read only. How do I fix that ?

Re: Grub-Install
Is your filesystem read-only? Can you create files on that filesystem? If it is read-only you want to check logs with "sudo journalctl --since boot" to discover if there was an error that caused this.

Re: Grub-Install
Are you booted to the system to which you are trying to install Grub? Or are you running the command from a live session or other place "outside" the target system?
Be aware, one reason for a partition to be mounted read-only is that the system has detected errors. If that's your case, the errors will have to be fixed before you can proceed.
