Debian12 Virtualbox Fullscreen

Installed debian12 in virtualbox right now, i went with gnome and gdm3, i've inserted the virtualbox guest additions then a popup appeared asking to run the software present on the guestadditions, after selecting yes nothing happens, did i do something wrong?

When i manually leftklick on vboxlinuxadditions.run then libreoffice opens the file... when i rightklick, nothing happens.

You have been told Virtualbox is not a Debian program. I would guess most of use KVM if virtualization is needed.

You can follow the instruction in the virtualbox manual at https://www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch04.html . You could easily install it.

The vboxlinuxadditions.run is essentially a command line script program. It will install software components that you will have to manage by yourself (they are not managed through package managers).
