The laptop is still trying to shut down. I have to wait until the battery completely discharges before I can run the line command and send the output. I see many others are having issues with this stable Debian 12 distro.

Aki I will provide the requested information as soon as the laptop shuts down. After logging in a screen popped to install two system updates for Lenovo X390 after the update I clicked on to restart and it is shutting down as I write this reply.
