Okay. I've downloaded the debian live iso and booted on a live usb. Not surprisingly, it worked. I know it's not a hardware issue because it was working before. So, what's the next step?

I don't know, i haven't tried yet. But when i was installing debian the wifi works fine and it did until now. I've been using debian for 2 weeks ish

Wifi suddenly stopped working
Hello everyone, I am a very new user in debian and so far my experience using it has been a blast! until.. suddenly my wifi just stopped working. I am using the gnome desktop environment and usually the wifi icon is there but now it's gone. I have no idea what i did and what happened because there was no error, glitch or anything that I am aware of at the time. Now i am connecting my laptop to my wifi router via ethernet in hope of finding a solution. Thank you so much in advance.
