Yes, I have tested unmount and the connection can be closed on that way. It's not the cleanest method but it works.
Hopefully on stretch this item is solved better.

I'm using nautilus ftp connection to make small changes on web-server pages. I have not found a method to close the ftp connection after modifications except by closing the user session.
My computer is running with debian stable / Gnome desktop.
Any advice is welcome!

Good news, I got it working on server!
I used the info you told on previous message and the response from server is ok. I must use .shtml files for SSI but that's ok.
